On the Love of Christ
Christ, the sinless One who deserved no suffering, willingly gave His life on the Cross for the sake of our souls—to free us from the fear of death, to transfigure suffering into a path toward healing, and to reveal that all things, even pain, are blessings for our benefit.
In His passion, He took every burden from our hearts and was crucified in return. That is selfless love—the love beyond human measure, yet the love we are all called to strive toward. For within that love is perfect joy, holy sorrow, and compassion for the whole world.
To fill all the oceans with love would still fall short of the love in Christ’s heart as He lifted His Spirit to the Father—for the salvation and renewal of His creation.
