Why Wisdom Is Threatening

And What the Pursuit of Truth Really Means

This is captured on the fly in my kitchen, so many thoughts and ideas are not well articulated, but the concept is valuable. In the future, I'll go into a thorough deliberation.

In the pursuit of truth, we don't rise above others — we remove the chains that keep us from seeing each other clearly.

In this video, we explore a hard truth many people face when they begin pursuing wisdom: why others feel threatened by your search for meaning, truth, and philosophy. When we seek truth and wisdom, it exposes how fragile many worldviews are, including our own. People ask, "Do you think you're better than me? Smarter than me?" But the real answer lies in understanding what makes us equal — and what holds us back from seeing that equality. This conversation dives into how our egos, temptations, and flesh distort the wisdom already within us, and why pursuing truth means lifting those distortions to see the essence in ourselves and others.
