Welcome to Origin Chaos
Bringing Order to Chaos, Together.
Deconstructing Beliefs, Restructuring Worldview, and Uncovering Truth
I am now rewriting this introduction for the third time. My previous introductions were largely subjective and emotional, contradicting the mission of Origin Chaos. Additionally, they were too long and drawn out. Because our mission is to uncover Truth, our secondary responsibility is to identify fluff and trim it away. That is what I have attempted to do in this introduction. Beneath the stories that follow, I will provide one framework divided into 3 beliefs that serve as the cornerstone of this ongoing development.
Today and about one month ago, I was walking in the neighborhood with a companion. It was during these two walks specifically that something profound was made known to me. Before uncovering the message, here is what happened:
During the first walk, in one of the more beautiful parts of Pennsylvania, we discussed gratitude. In this conversation, I was encouraged to demonstrate the negative inclinations of our attention. I did so by prompting my friend to stop, and look down the road. I said:
“There is beauty all around us, but all we see are the wires hanging from the telephone pole.”
He smiled. That was exactly where he was looking.
During the second walk, with a different companion, in an equally beautiful part of town, we observed houses more closely than usual, uncovering the aesthetic genius and beauty of each one. Although we shared many of the same preferences, our observations were expressed very differently. Those of my companion were typically negative. Her focus was drawn to the blemishes and not to the bright spots.
Here is the message:
Our senses are windows into the world. Life is the path we travel on. Our experiences leave marks on those windows. Typically, it’s only the dirt and the scratches that are left behind. As a result, we experience the world through glass tainted by the remnants of the past. Inevitably, we focus on the debris. To see clearly, we need to clean the glass.
By facing the chaos in my life head on, I have arrived at its origin—hence, Origin Chaos. It was here that I discovered all things in life are actually Good—very Good—they’ve just been looked at through clouded glass.
As I drive through life attempting to keep the glass clean, I would like to share my revelations via Origin Chaos—not as an end, but a means to an end that I will never reach in this life.
You should know that:
All things are good, besides evil.
Evil exists outside of humanity and creation as we know it.
I don’t claim the rights to any of the truths that I uncover, but I do claim the failure to express them adequately.
